The Delta Reign prerelease window closed on Sunday, November 1. The physical launch lands Friday, November 6, with the set arriving in Pokémon TCG Live on November 5. If you played a prerelease, you have already seen the set in miniature, and if you waited, this week is when the real prices and the real decks start to show up.

The TCG Live update arrives November 3, with maintenance at 8 in the morning Pacific time. A Build and Battle Box holds a 40-card deck and four packs. Each box also carries one of four foil promos, Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus, or Kommo-o. That little box is still the best way to learn a set before you spend anything serious on it.

One player pulled Mega Rayquaza ex at a prerelease on November 1, in a reel shared that same day. That same player won three of four rounds. It is a great prerelease story, and it is exactly the kind of story that should not set your budget for Friday.

The thousand dollar ask is a listing, not a sale

The number to be careful with is the Mega Rayquaza ex ask floating around prerelease season. One October 30 carousel listed it at $1,000, with most cards marked as having no sales yet. No confirmed sale backs that figure, so treat it as a wish, not a market.

TickerMint's October 31 snapshot tells a quieter story. It counted 141 singles listed. Only 37 of them carried a presale price. Eevee topped that board at $46.50, with Groudon next at $41.96 and Kecleon at $32.06. When two boards disagree this much, the honest line is simple, the presale market is thin, and launch week supply will do more talking than any early listing.

That patience message is worth repeating at the counter. Do not quote a Rayquaza price to anyone yet, because there is no confirmed sale to quote. Wait for Friday, watch what actually sells, and then decide what the chase cards are really worth.

What launch week actually holds

Friday brings more than the set itself. November 6 also brings store promos with a $15 or more Pokémon TCG purchase. Kyogre lands at Hot Topic, Barnes and Noble, Five Below, and Macy's. Groudon lands at GameStop, and Giratina lands at Best Buy. All of them carry the Pokémon 30 "What's Your Favorite?" logo, so they are a small, fun reason to make Friday a trip rather than just a transaction.

The 30th Celebration Battle Decks are already out, at $19.99 each. Espeon ex and Umbreon ex each anchor an all-foil 60-card deck. Espeon's deck carries a Victini promo, and Umbreon's carries a Zeraora promo. They are a friendly on-ramp for a new player while the Delta Reign hype sorts itself out.

Back home, Monday night at Drum Island means Dragon Ball Super Fusion World at 7 PM. Doors open at 3 PM on Mondays. Next weekend, Twin Oaks returns to Federal Way on November 7 and 8, which the shop covered in yesterday's package. This week, though, belongs to Delta Reign, and the smartest move is the patient one, play the prerelease decks you already built, let Friday arrive, and buy the singles once the market has actually spoken.
