This is one of those weekends where everything happens at once. Riftbound Radiance pre-release events run October 16 through 22, with the full release landing October 23. Lorcana's Hyperia City prereleases fire on the 16th too. And right behind them, Pokémon Delta Reign prerelease kits hit October 24. If your calendar was not full, it is now.

Radiance pre-release: what is new

Radiance brings three new mechanics, Disarm, Show Off, and Deploy, plus nine new Legends including K'Sante and a neutral Neeko. The Ultimate Rare alt-art runes have a music theme this time, which is a fun flex for collectors. English, French, and Chinese all release the same day, October 23.

For our scene specifically: Tuesday Nexus Nights have been building a real Riftbound crowd, and a pre-release weekend is the best on-ramp a new player can ask for. Everyone opens the same new cards, everyone is learning the new mechanics together. No established meta to get stomped by. If you have been Riftbound-curious, this is your week.
