It is Gengar week, and we ran the movers through the case again
The grinning purple ghost is having a moment. TCGplayer’s weekly price report just watched Gengar Lv.X from the 2009 Arceus set climb from $60 five years ago to around $1,000 for a Near Mint copy (TCGplayer). Tag Team GX alt arts are running too, with the Gengar and Mimikyu tag art at $2,119 on TCGplayer (PokeInsider). So this week’s list starts with the ghost, then widens out. Everything below was checked on the site this morning and has a working Add to cart button.
The Gengar ladder
- Gengar (Trick or Trade) at $1.05 →. The spooky-season starter. In stock.
- Gengar (Perfect Order) from $0.55 →. Two variants in stock, $0.55 and $0.78.
- Gengar (151), Near Mint, at $8.53 →. Only 1 left. The 151 Gengar is the one people actually collect.
The Charizard corner
- Charizard (Pokemon GO) at $4.37 →. In stock.
- Mega Charizard X ex (Phantasmal Flames) at $4.76 →. In stock.
- Charizard VSTAR (Secret, graded 8) at $60 →. Only 1 left. Grade is 8, priced like it.
- Koala (SP), graded 10, at $232 →. Only 1 left. The Japanese Heroines card, already slabbed, so no grading gamble.
Still standing from last week
- DON!! Card (LA Dodgers 2026 Promo) at $399 →. Only 1 left.
- Vi, Piltover Enforcer (Signature) at $1,500 →. Only 1 left.
- Giratina SM151 Staff prerelease promo at $495 →. Only 1 left.
What is not here: the Slowking Prime ($70 to $90 this week), the Garchomp from Supreme Victors pushing $100, and the Jirachi Prism Star at $75. All out of stock or never in the case, so no pretending otherwise. Oath of Teferi from Magic’s Reality Fracture wave is out of stock too.
The Journey Together booster box at $215 is still here as well if you want the rest of the shelf. Shop is open 3 to 8 daily, closed Thursdays, on Rainier Ave S.
