Friday is three days out, and the One Piece release everyone is watching is already moving. EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 lands October 30 at $4.99 a pack. A Nico Robin Leader, a Kentaro Yabuki alt-art, and six SP cards headline the set. The pre-sale box price has been sliding all month, and it just slid faster. At the same time, Bandai's own shops have closed the door to walk-ins entirely. Put those two facts together and Friday's story is simple: the hype price is coming down, and the foot traffic is heading to local shops.

The box that keeps getting cheaper

InkSight's daily snapshot of TCGplayer tells the slide in plain numbers. The EB-05 booster box listing opened in late August near $400, then stepped down through September and early October. With release a week out, the lowest ask fell from $340.32 on October 23. By October 26 it sat at $305.00. That is a drop of more than ten percent in three days. The market price followed it down to $317.86.

Loose packs tell the same story from the other side. The pre-sale pack is listed near $19.41 on ask, against a $4.99 pack price on Bandai's own EB-05 product page. Nobody should pay four times pack price for a pre-sale single pack when the sealed box behind it is falling. The market is doing what it usually does before a big release: scarcity pricing is meeting incoming supply.

The lottery wall at Bandai's own shops

Bandai's US official shops will sell EB-05 by advance lottery only across the October 30 to November 1 release weekend, per the October 16 notice from Bandai Namco Amusement America, as reported by TapDrawRoll. Advance registration ran October 16 to 21 and is now closed. Nine shops are taking part, from Plano and Brooklyn to San Jose and San Francisco, and none of them will have a walk-in line for this set.

That is why this story matters past the price chart. When the official shops go lottery-only, every player who missed registration still wants the set on Friday, and their next stop is a local shop. If you are planning a Friday run, plan it around a shop you can actually walk into, and ask about their EB-05 plan before the weekend. The lottery did not kill demand. It moved it.

Those four-figure SP tags are not prices

Scroll the singles and you will see the scary numbers first. Three EB-05 SP listings carry asks of $2,999.99. Four more sit at $1,999.99. Here is the part that matters: none of them has a market price yet, because nothing has traded. An ask with no sale behind it is a placeholder, not a price, and pre-release placeholders are always the wildest numbers in the set.

The last Heroines set is the reality check. Its three biggest SP cards all sit above $1,300 on market price now. The Nico Robin SP leads them near $1,428. That is real money for real cards, and it is also less than half of what the new set's placeholder asks claim. Friday's packs will start turning placeholders into actual sales, and that is when EB-05 gets its real price list. Until then, enjoy the art, skip the panic, and let the box keep sliding toward the shelf.

One more Friday note: the TS-03 Mini Case Set lands the same day at $11.99, with a mini case, a promo card, and two OP-17 packs inside. Small box, honest price.
